Air Force Sergeant Arrested

On Tuesday, March 16, 2010 Senior Master Sergeant Authur Leon Henderson of 5505 Hinton Street, Springfield, Va. was arrested by Detectives from the Northern Virginia/DC Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

A Detective working an undercover operation on the internet, posing as a 14 year old female engaged in an instant message conversation with Henderson. Henderson arraigned to meet with the undercover officer for a sexual encounter at an undisclosed location in the City of Manassas. At a prearranged time, the subject arrived at the location and was taken into custody with the assistance of the Manassas City Police Department and Special Agents from the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.

Henderson has been charged with Attempted Indecent Liberties with a minor. Henderson is being held on a $5000 bond at the Prince William County ADC pending a 4-29-10 court date.
