Campbell Co., VA - A Campbell County man is in jail after being arrested on charges of trying to solicit a child online.
George Harold Melton, 52, of Altavista has been charged with nine counts of distribution of child pornography and five counts of child solicitation by a communication system.
He was arrested Thursday.
Officials say Melton allegedly started talking to someone he believed was a 13-year-old.
It ended up being a Madison County Sheriff's Office Investigator.
